Progress Arc is an independently registered specialist secondary school. We provide a high-quality, supportive and inspirational learning environment for young people with additional needs, ensuring our support is tailored to each student’s individual needs. Our bespoke approach helps students make positive progress, whether that means returning to mainstream education or moving on to further education, work-based learning or employment after Year 11.

Who are we?
At Progress Arc we are committed to giving each student extra support and attention to help them succeed.
There is no one size fits all approach, we take the time to get to know our young people, understand their challenges and support their aspirations to prepare them for the future. Our amazing staff supply a range of innovative teaching methods to cater for the needs of our students. In addition to the formal studies, all students have access to breakfast clubs, are provided lunch and have scheduled weekly one to one time with mentors.
Our teachers operate on a curriculum model, to reflect the size of our provision, teaching across a range of subjects, with a broad enrichment offer providing individuals with pathways through to Progress Futures (post 16 provision) and beyond.
As part of our Pastoral Support, parents and carers can contact individual staff, allowing them to air concerns directly with their child’s teacher, mentor or a member of the leadership team. We pride ourselves on our open door policy and want parents and carers to feel they can come in and discuss any issues their child may be facing that could impact their education.
